What does the export/archive do?

e-timecard is a temporary holding module for labor charges. Therefore, after employees enter time cards, you must export their entries to Payroll in JAMIS or a third-party payroll module.

When you export time cards, e-timecard moves them from the current detail file to the archive table. It also creates a fixed-width ASCII file for updates to JAMIS and third-party products.
