Do you want to allow recognition pay?


e-timecard offers an option to companies that pay their exempt employees recognition pay in addition to their standard wages. Employees enter these wages as additional hours on the time card in a specific field separate from the normal hourly amounts.

The export program picks up the hours entered in the recognition pay field and attaches them to the first job listed on the time card.

If you check the Allow Recognition Pay box, then the field appears on the time card. You can customize the field label to your company terminology under the Titles tab on the Company Setup screen.

As an alternative to recognition pay, you can have exempt employees enter special pay codes. Read details about setting special pay code options in the Initialization file.
