When an approver changes an employee's request or report, s/he has two choices when s/he saves the changes: approve or reject. Below is the email that e-xpense sends when the approver changes then approves the request or report. The employee receives the email if the form is set up to notify employees of e-xpense actions.
If the status changes to (fully) Approved, see the email message, Email employee when an expense form is fully approved. The system will send that email to the employee as well, meaning that the employee will get two email messages for one approval action.
