e-timecard lets you enter special hours such as overtime, vacation, sick, and holiday. Click one of the following links to read more details about entering these different kinds of hours.
To enter overtime, vacation, sick, or holiday hours
Go to a blank line on the Edit Time Card screen.
Do one of the following to indicate the kind of time that you wish to charge. Note that the first option is available for vacation, sick, and holiday, but not for overtime; you must select a pay code to charge overtime.
Select Vacation, Sick, or Holiday from the Job (user-defined label) dropdown list.
Select a pay code from the Pay Code (user-defined label) dropdown list. The specific pay codes used for overtime, vacation, sick, and holiday vary according to your administrator's settings.
The list contains all pay codes in your personal list. If the pay code that you are looking for is not in the dropdown list, and you see a Search option, you can select it to look up a pay code.
e-timecard automatically fills in fields of information associated with your selection.
If you selected from the Job list, then e-timecard fills in the pay code, as well as the default cost element if it exists.
If you selected from the Pay Code dropdown list, then e-timecard fills in the default job and cost element if they exist.
If you selected from the Pay Code dropdown list, enter a job if it did not default.
