Changing employee time cards


As an approver, you can change employee time cards if your company setup allows it. If the Edit Time Card tab is clickable when you are viewing an employee time card, that indicates that you can make changes.

Depending on your e-timecard administrator's settings, you can have one of the following change permission levels.

If you make a change that exceeds your permissions, an error message appears, and you must change your entries to match your permission level.

When you change an employee time card, e-timecard updates the status to Open if it had been any other status. e-timecard sends an email to any employee whose time card you change.

The instructions for changing current time cards tell you how to change a time card that your company has not exported to payroll yet. Time cards that your company has exported are not accessible from the Approval View screen, and you cannot make changes to them. You can, however, review archived time cards if you wish.
