Do you want to display the earning code description on the time card?

You can choose to display the earning code description in addition to the code in the Time Card screen’s Earning Code (user-defined label) dropdown list. The default for the Display earning code descriptions (user-defined label) parameter is turned off, which means that the Time Card screen does not display the earning code description.

If you turn on the check box for this parameter, then the Earning Code dropdown list displays the description to the right of the code. The dropdown list is always sorted by code, not by description.

Regardless of your setting for this field, if the employee selects Search to look up an earning code, the Look Up Earning Code (user-defined label) screen always displays the description for each code that s/he retrieves.
