Deleting group IDs


If you need to delete a group ID, follow these steps.

To delete a group ID

  1. From the home page > Setup tab, under Security, click Group IDs. Or, from the top of any screen, click Security > Group IDs. The Group ID Setup screen appears.

  2. In the Filters section, enter one or more search criteria for the group ID that you want to delete. Your filter choices are: group ID, description.

    Hints:
    You can enter partial information in a filter field, such as A to retrieve all group IDs that begin with A, or %A to retrieve all group IDs that contain the letter A. You can leave all filter fields blank to retrieve all group IDs.

  3. Click Retrieve to list group ID records that match the criteria you entered. The results appear in the bottom section of the screen.

  4. If needed, scroll to find the group ID that you want to delete. JAMIS displays the records in ascending order by group ID. You can sort the list differently by clicking the appropriate column heading once or twice.

  5. Click Delete to the left of the group ID that you want to delete. A message asks you to confirm that you want to delete this group ID.

  6. Click OK to commit your deletion.

  7. Repeat the appropriate steps as needed to delete additional group IDs.
