Customizing email messages
In the preceding topics, when you see a message number in parentheses followed by text, this means that you can customize the text. Let’s use the following as an example.
(message ET8055) Your time card was rejected
If your company uses the term "time sheets," then you can change the message text to, "Your time sheet was rejected."
Follow the instructions below to customize email message text.
To customize email messages
From the JAMIS Administration home page > Setup tab, under Application Setup, click Messages. Or, from the top of any JAMIS Administration screen, click Application Setup > Messages. The Messages screen appears.
In the Filters section, enter the Message Number for which you want to change the text.
Click Retrieve. JAMIS displays data for the message in the bottom section of the screen.
Click Edit to the left of the message. JAMIS makes the Message Text field editable.
Highlight the text that you want to change, then type your new text.
Click Update to commit your changes to the email message text.
