Correcting export errors
If problems arise when you export time card data, complete the following steps to correct the errors.
To correct export errors
Go to the error log that the export program created in the default output directory with a file extension of .rpt.
If errors occurred for an employee, then you will see a header record in the export file without an accompanying detail record. You can use a text editor to delete the bad header record. It’s important that you do this because the program rolled back the detail in the database.
Fix errors for the affected employee(s) in e-timecard.
Re-run the export using the option to append.
