Logging in for the first time


When you log in to e-timecard for the first time, you ask e-timecard to email you a temporary password. Once you receive this temporary password, you can use it to gain access to the e-timecard system and create a new, secret password that only you know.

To log in to e-timecard for the first time

  1. Access your Internet browser and enter the URL for the e-timecard web application. The e-timecard Login screen appears.

  2. You can enter your ID and company if you wish.

  3. Click Are you a first-time user?. The Request Password screen appears.

  4. If you entered your ID and company on the e-timecard Login screen, then e-timecard fills them in here. If you did not already enter this information, enter it now.

  5. Click OK. e-timecard creates a temporary password and sends it to the email address that your administrator entered in your user profile.

  6. Once you obtain the temporary password from the email, return to the e-timecard Login screen, as described in step 1 above.

  7. Enter your ID, the temporary password, and your company.

  8. Click Login. Follow the remaining steps for changing your password when e-timecard prompts you.
