Each time card has one of the following statuses, as shown in the Select a time card period dropdown list on the Time Card screen. The status describes the stage of the time card in the create/submit/approve/archive cycle.
Open—You created the time card but haven’t submitted it yet.
Submitted—You submitted the time card, but it has yet to receive all required approvals. You can still open the time card to review it, print it, or change it. If you make changes, e-timecard will reset the status to Open and you’ll have to submit it again.
Approved—The minimum number of required approvers have approved the time card. You can still open the time card to review it, print it, or change it. If you make changes, e-timecard will reset the status to Open and you’ll have to submit it to your approvers again.
Rejected—An approver rejected this time card. You must open the time card, make changes, then submit it.
Not Created—You have not yet created a time card for the period.
Archived—Your company has exported the time card to payroll.
Amended—You reopened the time card and made changes after it was archived. You always see this status in combination with one of the other statuses listed above. For example, a time card with a status of Open Amended was reopened for changes after the archive took place but you have not yet resubmitted it.
