Quick start: Rejecting an expense form


To reject an expense form

  1. Follow the steps for retrieving and opening an expense form for approval or rejection.

  2. Review the expense form.

  3. Click Reject. The Explain Rejection screen appears.

  4. Select the appropriate reason code for the rejection from the dropdown list.

  5. If "(explain)" appears to the right of the reason code that you selected, type specific details about why you rejected the expense form in the Explanation field.

  6. If a password field appears below the Explanation field, enter your password here.

  7. Click Continue to finish rejecting. e-xpense updates the status to Rejected.

  8. What happens next depends on whether you selected one or multiple expense forms to review.
